Many businesses and intermediaries remember the Donbac name but may not be aware of the activities or level of funding which has increased the area's economic and social impact over the years.
Impressively, in the last 2 years alone, our work has helped over 350 businesses to create or safeguard over 600 jobs from £4 million invested!
The Donbac passion and mission continues...
In this 25th Anniversary year, the Donbac team has relocated to a new office at the Doncaster Business Innovation Centre, (DBIC) co locating alongside the Chamber of Commerce Enterprise team. A long way from the days when the Donbac office was opened in the Town Centre.
Who knows what the next 25 years hold? Change of course!
Through the vision and strategic direction of the Donbac Board and the work of the Donbac team delivering services, we will continue to support Enterprise in the region by:
- Helping clients to access business advice.
- Helping businesses who are unable to access mainstream funding due to lack of security or where funders consider the client business too high risk.
- Helping clients with poor credit histories, to improve their creditworthiness for future borrowings.
- Announcing exciting new loan funds for 2011, bringing much needed finance for South Yorkshire small businesses unable to access funding through mainstream banks.
- Encouraging enterprise in schools, releasing a new "Donbac Young Chamber" Evergreen Enterprise Fund to support start up enterprise projects in Doncaster schools.
