Elite is an established Doncaster business that has gradually been taking over the building it is sited in. With Donbac's help it is now taking over the Internet. A loan facility allowed the development of an e-commerce website in late 2009, which has been a very useful sales tool.

The business specialises in dresses and accessories for bridal parties, uniquely providing sizes from 8 to 36. "We stock dresses specifically designed for ladies in the higher sizes," says proprietor Sandra Dowson. "They have support in the right places and so look fantastic."

In defiance of recession romance is far from dead, and Elite is currently thriving. "People are still getting married," Sandra smiles. Many new customers are coming in via the Internet, and getting this side of the business sorted has proved a very astute move indeed.
